Platotex Technology Company Co., is established in 2007 in Hong Kong. Platotex is a premium supplier of raw minerals, high purity metals and chemical for ultra performance applications.
In 2010, Platotex sets up office in Shanghai, China, facilitates sourcing, buying, marketing and logistic of the rare metals business between trading partners around the world. Platotex successfully bridges Chinese local smelters with global demands of high purity rare metals, alloys and chemicals.
In 2013, the company sets up its office in Kampala, Uganda to initiate business of rare metal minerals from East African countries. Following successful sourcing of rare metal minerals out of East Africa, Platotex continues to develop trading partners in Rwanda, Ethiopia and Sierra Leone.
In 2015, Acordia Ltd is established in Rwanda. Partnering with local miners, Platotex as the major shareholder secures reliable supply of Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum and Gold minerals (3TGs) from Rwanda. In the same year, Platotex joined iTSCi as full member.
In 2016, Acordia Trading PLC is established in Ethiopia to facility sourcing, logistic and exports high content Tantalum concentrate.
In 2017 Platotex partners with Mitsubishi RtM to provide reliable supply of tantalum concentrates to Japan and Europe.
Platotex currently has affiliated business partners in Germany, America, Japan, India, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone and Uganda.
